U2 at the First Union Center

Irish rock star Bono was in Philadelphia on November 2nd, 2001.

During the day, he met with African leaders about subjects of concern to him: relief of Third World debt, the battle against AIDS, and the quest to increase trade in developing nations.

Later, he performed with U2 at the First Union Center (Wells Fargo Center), part of the North American 3rd leg of its Elevation Tour.
