Terracotta Warriors

As some of you already know, I am in the process of moving from California to Philadelphia.  This process should be completed in 148 days.  In the meantime, periodic visits to the city of Philadelphia have been scheduled.

I am truly excited to find out that on my next visit, I can also check out the famous Terracotta warriors of Qin Shi Huang, considered by most as China’s first emperor, at The Franklin Institute.

The Terracotta Army was discovered on March 29, 1974 by farmers digging a water well approximately a mile east of the Qin Emperor’s tomb mound.
